How We Help Stray Animals?
We take a series of measures to assist stray animals, aiming to provide rescue, rehabilitation, and placement into permanent homes.
When a stray animal in need is discovered, the AWF rescue hotline can be called. We respond swiftly, go to the site for rescue, and safely transport the animal.
Rescued animals undergo a comprehensive medical evaluation. This includes health checks, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering surgeries. Any injured or sick animals receive appropriate treatment to ensure they are healthy before finding a new home.
Many stray animals may exhibit fear or aggression due to prolonged time on the streets. AWF provides necessary socialization training to help these animals adapt to human environments, increasing their adoptability.
After completing treatment and training, animals are listed as available for adoption. We extensively promote them through our website, social media platforms, and partner adoption sites. We also organize offline adoption events to allow potential adopters to interact closely with the animals, facilitating adoptions.
AWF offers post-adoption support, including veterinary consultations, behavior training guidance, and necessary follow-up medical services. We also encourage adopters to share their stories with their pets to inspire more people to adopt through these positive experiences.
Through these comprehensive measures, we not only rescue and rehabilitate stray animals from the streets but also help them find loving homes. Additionally, by raising public awareness, we promote the importance of animal welfare.
